Gran Torino - Clint playing a racist old war vet . Man , has he gotten old . Lots of comedic lines for Clint , less violence than I anticipated and I really didn't care for the ending . Worth the watch though .

Defiance - Good WWII movie , based on real person and events of which I was unaware .
Life is a grindstone . Whether it grinds us down or polishes us up , depends on what we are made of .

Surfer, Dude - god awful, glad it was a free watch someone let me borrow. If I rented it I would be even more critical

Oh, and Gran Torino - 9/10
If the Asians weren't such HORRIBLE actors, it would be a 10/10.
That was the only down part of the film though. It was an extremely good watch.
Eastwood is amazing, but that should go without saying.

    Read the books.
The trilogy is called "His Dark Materials" and was written by Philip Pullman.
The trilogy is split up into the books: The Golden Compass (Also published as Northern Lights), The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.

Gran Torino - I thought it was a great Clint Eastwood film. I like the transition of his character. Ending blew, but still a good flick.

The Wrestler - that movie pretty much nailed professional wrestling to a "T"... Good film... but not Oscar worthy
